Fit-again Aaron Ramsey thrilled to be back

Arsenal ace Aaron Ramsey has revealed that he is thrilled to be back in action after starring in the Gunners' 3-0 win over Hull City on Sunday.

The Wales international opened the scoring before setting up Lukas Podolski to score his first of the afternoon prior to the half-time whistle.

The visit to the KC Stadium was the 23-year-old's first start following a three-month absence through injury, and Ramsey says that he is pleased to be involved in first-team duties once again.

"It feels good to be back and hopefully I can put in more good performances before the end of the season," he told BBC Sport.

"The pitch was a bit bobbly today and they are a well-organised side who get the ball wide, put crosses in and are dangerous.

"But we scored some good counter-attacking goals."

Billed a dress rehearsal for the FA Cup final, Arsene Wenger's men face the Tigers again at Wembley next month having beaten them twice in the league this season.

However, the midfielder does not believe that the North Londoners' previous triumph over Hull will have too much bearing on the big stage on May 17.

He added: "We have beaten Hull twice this season, but it is a Cup final and you cannot take anything for granted, but we will go into that game confident in our ability.

"We will go into that game with confidence and if we do well at the end of this season it could be our most successful for many years."

Podolski struck again early in the second half to cap an impressive win for the visitors, who moved four points clear of Everton in the race for Champions League qualification.
