#10. Frank De Boer
Just a fine example of how well a great player can thrive as a successful manager. Frank De Boer currently manages the Eredivisie club Ajax that has won the league title for 3 consecutive seasons. Although there has been continuous outflow of star players from the club, De Boer still manages to come up with a team good enough to beat European Heavyweights like Barcelona in the Champions league which clearly shows his capabilities as a top manager.
#9. Rafa Benitez
Probably the most versatile manager you will come across, Benitez is a specialist in digging out teams from the dead and giving them a new lease of life. He has won two La Liga titles with Valencia, a Champions League and FA Cup with Liverpool before winning the Europa league with Chelsea. He is currently managing Serie A club Napoli successfully bringing them back to the top 4 in the league.
#8. Brendan Rodgers
The only reason this man is on our list of best managers is because he is almost certainly going to achieve the impossible with Liverpool. The man who brought Swansea back to the premier league, he is definitely going the right way with Liverpool. He may not have a title to his name yet but has the potential to win many in future.
#7. Arsene Wenger
Every season with Arsenal for Arsene Wenger is like got so close yet so far. His Gunners team does have the ability to outplay bigger teams in the Europe but consistency is something that has been lacking since many years now. The gaps caused by the departure of Star performers have only added to the misery of this Frenchman who is a proven manager in every single way.
#6. Antonio Conte
One unbeaten season at Juventus as a manager proves his mettle. He may not have big names in his team apart from a handful but he is surely one of those managers who can create stars. A former Juventus midfielder, Conte has the vision and tactics to take his club to great heights.
#5. Diego Simeone
Another example of how a player can become a great manager. Simeone has transformed the Atletico Madrid side into a strong force that can take on any team in the world today. Although he is still to achieve a major silverware, it cannot be ignored that he is up against teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid. We rate him very high as a manager and expect him to go a very long way, given the right players and the required funds without which also he still manages to do an unbelievable job.
#4. Jurgen Klopp
As a club owner, Klopp is the ultimate choice as a manger. What he has achieved with Dortmund is nothing less that remarkable. He has the ability to bring out the best inside every player and make them play together as a team that can take on the mightiest and most star studded teams in the world. Ending Bayern Munich’s dominance in Bundesliga and beating Real Madrid in the Champions League are all proof to his credentials as a great manager.
#3. Carlo Ancelloti
With a vast collection of trophies to his name, Ancelloti has achieved success in 3 different countries with teams who have contrastingly different playing styles. It is his adaptability that makes him so successful as a manager. Currently with Real Madrid and blessed with a bunch of talented players and big money transfers, he has all the resources available at his disposal.
#2. Jose Mourinho
The fact that in his 13 long years of managing different clubs across Europe he has never finished beyond the first 2 places in the league shows his brilliance. He has won trophies with Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid. A very shrewd tactician who is loved and equally hated by the football world, for him it is success that matters above everything.
#1. Pep Guardiola
Unfortunately we are not giving away prizes for guessing who’s #1 on this list. It is quite an obvious choice after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson. Pep Guardiola is the most decorated and sought after manager in the world today. Famous for his possessional style of playing, he revolutionized the game of football by winning an impossible 14 titles with Barcelona in just 3 years. Now with Bayern Munich, he is set to achieve more glory having already guided them to the Bundesliga title.
This is crap! Simeone has achieved major honors! Europa league, super cup and copa del rey, and Juventus has a lot of Big names in its team, star studded ready made players, the likes of chellini pirlo tevez vidal buffon marchisio, giovinco, pogba, bonnuci, llorente jst to mention a few are far more than handful like u mention, then frank de boer is a good manager but isn't worth to be in top 10 due to the fact that he plies his trade at holland and his ajax team has never mounted a strong challenge to other teams they haven't evn reach semifinals in UCL which doesn't prove he's has good as u make him, what hapnd to the likes of mancini, Mircea Lucescu of shaktar, laurent blanc, claudio ranieri who transformed monaco from div2 to 2nd in div1 and jorge jesus then hw come conte comes before arsene wenger, pls not everyone readin ur blog is a football novice, stop postn BS pls get ur facts right sum of us are smart and updated
