Phil Jones understands fans frustration

Manchester United defender Phil Jones has admitted that he understands the frustrations of supporters this season.

United will record their worst finish in the Premier League since its formation in 1992, and have also missed out on Champions League football next season.

Jones has acknowledged that it hasn't been a good year for the club, who slipped to their seventh defeat at Old Trafford this season against Sunderland.

"They've had a difficult season," Jones told reporters. "It's not been easy for them, especially at Old Trafford. You can understand that totally.

"We're now looking forward to Hull on Tuesday night. The only way to bounce back is to win a match and at least it's coming around quick."

United face Hull City on Tuesday in their final match at Old Trafford this season.
