Swansea City offer Garry Monk two-year deal

Swansea City have offered interim boss Garry Monk a two-year deal to become their new permanent manager, according to a report.

The 35-year-old replaced Michael Laudrup who was sacked by the club following a run of poor form earlier this year.

Monk has guided the Swans to Premier League safety as they recorded back-to-back wins over Newcastle United and Aston Villa last month.

Due to his success chairman Huw Jenkins is prepared to offer the 35-year-old a two-year deal to accept the job on a permanent basis, reports Wales Online.

Swansea are 13th in the Premier League and face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on the final day of the season.
