Bacary Sagna has revealed why he had to leave Arsenal for Manchester City.
Sagna swapped the Emirates for the Eithad this summer, becoming the fifth player to move between the clubs in recent years.
Kolo Toure, Gael Clichy, Emmanuel Adebayor and Samir Nasri all paved the now well-trodden path from London to Manchester before Sagna.
And the right-back admits seeing City win the Premier League title last season made up his mind about the switch.

"Players are here to work and to win trophies," Sagna said.
"I was watching them (City) celebrating last season and I wanted to celebrate at the same time and win trophies, and the best way to do that is to work, to wake up every day and give the maximum.
Sagna could make his City debut against Arsenal in the Community Shield on Sunday (3pm).
And the 31-year-old insists facing his former club will be just like any other game.
"To me, it’s a normal game," Sagna added.
