Valencia have officially signed German International centre-back, Shkodran Mustafi on a five-year deal from Sampdoria.
After reports that Mustafi had arrived at the Mestalla offices on Wednesday morning, it was confirmed on Wednesday evening that the 22-year-old had finalised his transfer to Los Che.
“Valencia CF have reached an agreement with UC Sampdoria for the transfer of German international cente-back Shkodran Mustafi. The player, who signed his contract on Wednesday, becomes the newest Valencia player until 30 June 2019. Mustafi, who is 22 and a newly crowned 2014 World Cup champion, will complete on Thursday, at 9.45 am, his standard medical review with Divina Pastora with the usual pose for the print media. Then, at 10.00, the player will be presented to the medical.”
Valencia did not release the amount of the transfer fee, which is believed to between €8 (Valencia’s reported offer) and €15 million (Sampdoria’s reported asking price).
