Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend is due to have further tests on the ankle injury that he suffered against Stoke City on the weekend.
The 22-year-old left the Britannia Stadium wearing a protective boot on Saturday following his side's 1-0 win in the Premier League.
The latest setback for the England international could see him ruled out of this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
Townsend has scored three goals in 38 games for both club and country this season.
Spurs continue their league campaign this Saturday when they face West Ham United at Upton Park.
