Key Manchester United players to decide on future after Moyes' announcement

Reports suggest that a number of Manchester United players will wait to see what the club does with manager David Moyes before making a decision on their Old Trafford futures.

Moyes is in danger of losing his job with the Red Devils after it emerged on Monday that the Scot could be sacked in the wake of a dismal debut season in charge following his summer replacement of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Varying reports are indicating that United owners, the Glazer family, have lost patience with Moyes and could remove him from his post before the end of the current season.

That has allegedly prompted the likes of Danny Welbeck, Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa to reconsider possible summer exits.

Welbeck is a target for Tottenham after starting sporadically throughout the campaign, van Persie is believed to be unhappy under Moyes and Kagawa has been linked with a return to Borussia Dortmund but his potential dismissal has forced the trio to rethink their futures according to Express Sport.

It is also believed that Rio Ferdinand, Javier Hernandez, Nani, Anderson and Tom Cleverley will also wait to see who the replacement is before making a call on whether they remain at Old Trafford or not.
