Croatia release 30-man World Cup 2014 squad list

Nikica Jelavic has been revitalised by his move from Everton to Hull City in the January transfer window.

The Hull City striker Nikica Jelavic has been named in Croatia's provisional 30-man World Cup squad along with the Southampton defender Dejan Lovren.

The Queens Park Rangers midfielder Niko Kranjcar, Real Madrid's Luka Modric and Shakhtar Donetsk striker Eduardo, formerly of Arsenal, are also in Niko Kovac's squad.

Their defender Josip Simunic misses out after being handed a 10-game ban for making a fascist salute following the play-off victory over Iceland last month.

Croatia are in Group A with the hosts Brazil, Mexico and Cameroon.
