Portugal boss concerned about Ronaldo knee injury as World Cup looms

Portugal head coach Paulo Bento is concerned about the wellbeing of captain Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports in the Portuguese media.

The Real Madrid superstar played in the recent Champions League final despite carrying a knee injury, and that exertion has left the forward with swollen tendons in his left knee. He will go to Brazil, for sure, but he may be protected in training before Portugal's first game, against Germany on Monday 16th June.
