Colombia striker Radamel Falcao has said that it will be "impossible" for him to regain 100 per cent fitness ahead of this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
Jose Pekerman named the Monaco forward, who has not played since January after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament, in his 30-man provisional squad on Tuesday.
"To get to 100 per cent football-wise will be impossible, because I lack hours of competitive football," Falcao told Marca.
"In order to resume, if I am feeling good, I will go.
"If I see that I am not sure, and I'm not going to contribute anything, I will be sensible and I will not go."
Falcao, 28, scored 17 goals for his club this season prior to his injury.
