Tony Pulis voted manager of the Year

Tony Pulis has been voted the League Managers Association's Premier League Manager of the Year.

The Welshman took over at Crystal Palace in November, guiding the Eagles away from the relegation zone to an 11th-placed finish in the top flight.

The prize, which is voted for by fellow managers, has never been awarded to a manager whose club has finished outside the top five before.

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has won the award more than any other manager, claiming the honour on 11 occasions, including last season.
