Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi could reportedly join Porto on loan this summer.
The Spaniard moved to Madrid from Real Sociedad last summer, but struggled to make a serious impact.
The midfielder is still seen as a key player for the future, but it is understood that Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to send Illarramendi on loan for the 2014-15 campaign.
According to A Bola, Porto have emerged as the favourites due to the presence of former Spain Under-21 coach Julen Lopetegui, who is the Portuguese side's manager.
A number of European clubs are believed to be monitoring proceedings.
