Midfielder Frank Lampard has reportedly indicated that he would be prepared to consider a six-month contract with a Premier League club.
Lampard is leaving Chelsea after 13 years at Stamford Bridge, and despite having a reported 16 clubs interested in his signature, the 35-year-old has been strongly linked with a transfer to newly-formed MLS side New York City.
However, according to Guardian Liberty Voice, if he were to sign for New York, Lampard would be keen to maintain his match fitness at another club with the next MLS campaign not scheduled to begin until March.
Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City have been mentioned as possible destinations for Lampard since the end of the season.
