Leon Osman is convinced Everton have strengthened sufficiently so far this summer to finish higher than Liverpool next term.
The Toffees made a statement of intent yesterday when they clinched the signature of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea for £28million.
Liverpool meanwhile have put the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona to good use, bringing in the likes of Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Emre Can.
Though the Reds finished above the Toffees last term, Osman is confident the tables will be turned next season.

"Yes we can. It’s going to be difficult though," Osman told talkSPORT.
“Liverpool have strengthened, but so have we.
