Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini: 'We cannot afford to drop more points'

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that his team need to get back to winning ways when they take on Hull City at the KC Stadium tomorrow.

The Premier League champions have failed to win their last three league fixtures following a 1-0 defeat to Stoke City and draws against Arsenal and Chelsea.

"We went four games without a win until Wednesday (in the Capital One Cup) and although we have not played badly we need to start winning games regularly now, especially at Hull because we cannot drop more points," Pellegrini said in today's press conference.

"For every team, it is not good to drop points at the beginning because you know at the end of the season the title is probably going to be decided by just one point. But I'm not worried about our form."

City are currently sixth in the league table, five points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
