Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has rubbished reports of a fallout between him and Reds manager Brendan Rodgers.
Recent reports suggested that Gerrard was angry with Rodgers for not starting him on his 16th Liverpool anniversary yesterday, but the former has posted on his Instagram account to clarity the situation.
"Just to set the record straight media talk of a fall out between us 2 is NONSENSE ..have a nice Sunday 👍#together#solid#ynwa," Gerrard wrote as a caption on the below photo.
Rodgers admitted after yesterday's 1-0 win over Stoke City that he had no idea it was the anniversary of Gerrard's debut and said that he felt bad for not starting him.
