New Real Sociedad manager David Moyes could attempt to lure Stoke City's Charlie Adam away from the Premier League in Janaury, according to reports.
The Daily Star claims that Moyes's assistant manager Billy McKinlay was dispatched to watch Adam play for the Potters in their 2-1 home defeat to Burnley last weekend.
Burnley's matchwinner in that game, Danny Ings, has also emerged as an apparent target for the former Manchester United boss as he looks to rebuild his Sociedad squad.
However, Stoke are another team looking at the England Under-21 striker and may be willing to sell Adam to fund such a move.
The midfielder, who is represented by Moyes's brother, Kenny, was rumoured to have been a target for Everton during the Scot's tenure at Goodison Park.
