Man Utd told to wait until end of season to rekindle £112m bid for PSG star Marquinhos

PSG defender Marquinhos will wait until the end of the season before making a decision about a move to Manchester United.

United have already made tentative enquiries about bringing the Brazilian defender to Old Trafford to sure up their defence.

And while PSG have told them that the 20-year-old will only leave if they receive a silly offer - with a £112m price tag reported in some places - United haven't given up hope of landing the player altogether.

Indeed, reports in France suggests that Marquinhos will wait until the summer to determine his future.

Marquinhos currently finds himself behind David Luiz and Thiago Silva in the Parc des Princes pecking order and could be tempted to move on unless his playing opportunities increase in the second half of the season.

PSG are said to have approached the player with a view to extending his current deal in light of United's interest, because they see him as one for the future.

But with United lurking in the shadows, the former Roma man now wants to see out the rest of the season before committing himself one way or the other.
