Isco pleased with recognition

Real Madrid midfielder Isco believes that he is now getting full recognition for his performances after slightly altering his style of play over the last six months.

The Spaniard has developed into a more complete midfielder this season, with his displays drawing a host of praise.

On Sunday, the 22-year-old starred in his side's 2-0 win at Elche and left the field to a standing ovation from all sides of the stadium in the latter stages.

"I have no problem with the recognition. I'm calm, I try to help the team on and off the pitch. Now we're four points ahead of Barcelona," Isco has been quoted by Inside Spanish Football.

"The fans shouting my name is a source of pride. I always believe in myself, but I've taken an important step in my ability to steal balls and that's why I'm getting more recognition."

Isco joined Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013.
