Bayern Munich confirm Robert Lewandowski concussion

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Robert Lewandowski suffered a broken jaw, broken nose and concussion during last night's defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal semi-finals.

The striker sustained the injuries after colliding with Dortmund goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern eventually lost on penalties after the teams played out a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes.

Lewandowski is almost certain to miss his side's Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona at the Camp Nou on May 6.

Robert #Lewandowski has broken his upper jaw and his nose. He also has a concussion. It doesn't get much worse than that.
