The Manchester United squad will reportedly be forced to wear their Nike kit during a pre-season tour of the United States, despite having secured a world-record deal with Adidas.
The Premier League giants have a 10-year £750m deal with global sports brand Adidas, which will come into effect from the beginning of August.
However, according to the Daily Mail, until then, United will have to continue honouring their Nike agreement, which means that during the club's 12-day trip to the US in July, the team will wear Nike gear.
The report has claimed that there is currently no buy-out agreement in place to allow the team to unveil their new Adidas kit during the tour this summer.
