Real Madrid are hopeful of completing a deal for Valencia left-back Jose Gaya, according to reports.
Tuttomercatoweb exclusively claims that Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring the Spaniard to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer after already completing a deal for Porto right-back Danilo.
Gaya is believed to have a release clause of £13million in his contract, but Valencia are said to be offering him an extension taking the figure up to a whopping £29m.
However, the 19-year-old is apparently not keen on pricing himself out of a move, and Tuttomercatoweb reckons that Real will take a bold step by offering £18m in order to convince their La Liga rivals to part ways with Gaya.
The news is therefore set to come as a blow to Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal, who have all previously been linked with summer swoops for the Spain U-21s star.
