Liverpool have reportedly decided to turn down Manchester City's latest offer for Raheem Sterling.
Earlier this month, speculation claimed that the Citizens had failed with a £25m bid for the England international.
A second approach, which is believed to have been worth around £40m, was lodged earlier today, but the Merseysiders have no intention of accepting it, according to The Mirror.
It has been said that the Reds value the 20-year-old at £50m and they are not prepared to negotiate a lesser fee.
