Former Nigeria midfielder Sunday Oliseh has been appointed the country's new head coach.
The 40-year-old takes over from Stephen Keshi, who was sacked by the Super Eagles earlier this month.
Oliseh won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations and a 1996 Olympic gold medal with Nigeria during a nine-year international career.
"There is no time to waste... it is imperative that Oliseh starts work immediately," Nigeria Football Federation general secretary Mohammed Sanusi is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
Oliseh's former clubs include Ajax, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.
