Arturo Vidal will tell Juventus in the next 24 hours that he has changed his mind and that he wishes to join Manchester United after all.
Earlier this week new Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri seemed certain that Vidal had made up his mind to stay after telling reporters: "Vidal will stay here and he's very happy about this.
"I spoke with him about his fitness, we're happy he will stay with us."
But it seems that the player's agent, Fernando Felicevich, remains keen on a move away and has now persuaded Vidal that a move to United makes sense.
Felicevich is now expected to meet with Juve director Giuseppe Marotta sometime today to advise him of Vidal's new position.

Reports suggest that Vidal is keen to leave Juve after reaching a verbal agreement with United over a £47m move that would see him paid £200,000-a-week.
However, the move would represent quite a U-turn for Vidal who last week appeared to rule out a move to the Red Devils.
He said: "I don't know if I will stay at Juventus, I'm happy here in Turin.
"I will talk with Allegri on Monday. I'm not going to Manchester."
