James Milner has said that he will stay at Manchester City, but only if he plays.
The 28-year-old was a key player in last season's title run-in and as a result has been offered a new contract by the Blues.
However, the former Newcastle United and Aston Villa star says he wants to remain at the club, but only if he will be given playing time.
He is quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News: "Basically I want to be here - as long as I'm playing. I love it here and hopefully I can be here for a long time to come.
"But that's determined on how much football I get. I just want to feel like I'm contributing. I played a fair amount last year - maybe not as many in the league as I would have liked but I felt I contributed to the trophies I won. That's what it's about."
Milner joined City in 2010 from Aston Villa and has won the title twice during his time with the club.
