Simon Mignolet could be dropped for Manchester United match

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is considering dropping Simon Mignolet for his side's match against Manchester United, according to a report.

The Belgian has struggled immensely for the Reds this season, making several high-profile errors, which has put his place in the starting lineup in jeopardy.

Rodgers is pondering whether to replace Mignolet with Brad Jones for the his side's clash against United at Old Trafford due to his fears over the 26-year-old's form, claims the Daily Mail.

Raheem Sterling is also being considered to lead the line for Rodgers's men in place of Rickie Lambert, with Adam Lallana expected to start on the wing for the Merseysiders.

Liverpool face off against the Red Devils later today.
