Under-fire AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi has revealed that he hopes to welcome new faces into his squad this month in a bid to quell their poor run of form.
The Rossoneri slumped to a 1-0 defeat to 10-man Lazio on Tuesday in a result that saw the pressure on Inzaghi increase with a Coppa Italia exit.
Milan have won just two Serie A games since October but, having already signed Alessio Cerci from Atletico Madrid, the 41-year-old hopes to boost their hopes of an elusive first win of 2015 with further recruits.
"When we have a full squad we will be able to give continuity to the players and we can make up for lost ground," Inzaghi told reporters.
"I know the club wants to strengthen this squad, if the players do arrive to strengthen it then I will be happy about that. We're just missing a win to reignite that spark.
"I know the environment is down. The fans supported us, I see that the team is giving all that it has but this isn't enough and so we will have to continue working hard."
Milan sit 11th in Italy's top flight, 10 points adrift of the Champions League qualification places.
