Tottenham Hotspur to reject any Harry Kane approach

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made it clear to Manchester United that they have no intention of selling Harry Kane this summer.

Kane enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with Spurs last season as he netted 31 goals in all competitions, and his form was soon followed by reports that United were interested in his services.

It was reported earlier this week that Louis van Gaal was still keen to bring the 22-year-old to Old Trafford, but The Guardian claims that Spurs are not willing to discuss any potential deal.

The report suggests that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy met United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward in May to inform him that Kane was not for sale, and the club will not change their stance this summer.

Van Gaal could be set to shake up his attack as Javier Hernandez continues to be linked with a move away from the club, which would leave Wayne Rooney and James Wilson as the only two strikers in the squad.
